Space Camp – Training kids to be Astronauts since 2007

Suited to kids aged 8 – 12 years

Our 6th Annual Space Camp is going to have an even bigger intergalactic twist!

This year our sessions are longer. Students will get to remotely use a telescope in the Canaries (since the weather in Cork may not oblige!).

We’re going to take a journey into the Secrets of the Solar System and give our budding space enthusiasts a look into how our solar system was born and learn about the mysteries of space.

As always the campers will Have a blast! building and launching their own rockets. The excitement is always stellar for this activity as we build up to it during the week.

Our Space Campers will also become Egg-citing Eggstronauts and test the landing craft they have designed and built by launching them off the roof of the Round Tower. As the kids will use the basics of space science that we teach them while building these we’re happy to say that not many eggs are harmed in the process!

There are 4 sessions to choose from:

JULY 8- 12: MORNING (9:30 – 12:30 )

JULY 8- 12: AFTERNOON (14:00 – 17:00)
