Date: April 11-18   Time: 11:00 - 12:30

One of summer Space Camp’s most popular activities is coming back to the Castle again this Easter.

Launching the Eggstronauts!

Blackrock Castle Observatory  will eggcite and eggthuse young space eggineers with the story of planetary discovery. Find out how planetary landers are constructed. Try designing your own system to land on a comet, an asteroid or even another planet! Use modelling techniques to discover the best technique and then launch a real (raw) egg off the Castle. The Beagle Mission to Mars bounced to a landing… how well would that really work? Eggsplore and find out!

Ideal for ages 8 to 12, this 1.5 hour workshop will run 4 times over the Easter Holidays

Time:11:00- 12:30

Dates:the same workshop will be offered on April 11, 12, 17 & 18, 2017

€10 each and pre-booking is advised on 021 4326120
