The StarDomeBlackrock Castle Observatory in association with Armagh Planetarium, present the StarDome.
The StarDome is a portable planetarium which will bring the night sky to your location and let you step outside the Milky Way and roam the Universe.
Using sophisticated software packages like Celestia and Stellarium, our expert astronomers can show you the universe and the night sky as well as customize shows to suit any group.
The StarDome also has a number of fully featured shows which incorporate all elements of science from geography to biology. These include Earth's Wild Ride and NASA's Ring World, detailing a trip to Saturn.
Please note the dome has specific dimensions in which it needs to be setup. The room must be at least 6m x 6m and have a ceiling height of 3.7m. |
