When you hear the word “space”, maybe you think of rockets and astronauts and wonder whether the cost is worth it. There is a lot more to space, though, and it brings all of us many different types of benefits every day. In this talk, Prof Chris Welch of the International Space University will describe these and try to show why space is good for a very great deal.

Directions to the Library: From Cork, take the town bypass towards Skibbereen. Pass the GAA grounds on the left, following the main road around to the right.
