This free, 2-hour ESERO Ireland course will show participants how to use inquiry-based learning techniques to promote children’s learning and understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Participants will also explore activities that support the theme of Engineers’ Week. These have been developed from European Space Agency Education, ESERO and Discovery Primary Science & Maths resources.
We will design, make and test a variety of model rockets that can be made from everyday materials. Our primary resource will be: https://www.esa.int/Education/Teachers_Corner/Up_up_up!_Build_and_launch_your_own_rockets_Teach_with_space_PR23 which can also be found here: ESAPR23aWithDPSMESEROFramework
