First Quarter Moon Viewing

Have you ever wanted to see what the Moon looks like through a telescope? Well this is your chance.

Join us at CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory where we’ll be checking out our nearest celestial neighbour with FREE telescope viewing sessions.

Observing, as always, is weather dependent.


CANCELLED: Special Observing Session for Lifelong Learning Festival on April 1st:

During the Lifelong Learning Festival, we’ll be hosting an extended viewing session should weather permit. Check back here for updates closer to the date.

Our normal 4pm to 5pm Observing timetable will apply for both of April’s Moon Viewing Sessions.

  • Weather: The Moon can be seen through light cloud... ring if you aren't sure if the telescopes will be out
