When Venus Transits the Sun

Got an email today from Bays Mountain Productions with details of their latest planetarium show. Have a look and tell us if you think we should purchase it for our StarDome.

Their new show is called “When Venus Transits the Sun.” Transits are when Venus passes directly between Earth and the Sun and we see the distant planet as a small dot gliding slowly across the face of the Sun. The next transit will be visible from Ireland at sunrise on June 6, 2012.

So far we have feed back from Elaine and Colm:

“The personal diary of Charles Green is a bit interesting.” & “Not Bad. It is interesting if you are interested in this particular area of science.” Elaine (TY Coláiste Muire)

“The show has nice visuals and some interesting commentary, but it drags a bit in places.” Colm (TY Coláiste Chríost Rí)

Watch the videos and give us your feedback please.
