Blackrock Castle is inviting young artists between the ages of 5 and 17 yrs to let their imaginations soar beyond the stars this festive season with the launch of the ‘ Cosmic Christmas’ art competition.
Imagine what Christmas might look like in space and blend the magic of Christmas with the wonders of the cosmos! Think twinkling galaxies, celestial snowflakes, floating presents in zero gravity and Santa’s sleigh flying through the milky way.
Winning entries will be proudly displayed in the BCO Christmas Gallery.
One overall winner will be chosen in each age category and will receive a space themed prize.
Age Categories:
- 5 – 8 yrs
- 9 – 12 yrs
- 12 – 17 yrs
Artworks can be in the form of a painting, drawing, mixed media on size A4 – A2 or a Christmas decoration which can be hung on our cosmic Christmas tree in the gallery.
