Space Week is back for 2025 with a brand new theme, ‘Living in Space’. This year we celebrate and explore humanity’s journey toward making space a home, emphasising the innovative technologies, challenges, and collaborative efforts that make this vision a reality!
Across Ireland, there are plenty of events taking place that YOU can take part in and join in the fun. Visit www.spaceweek.ie to find events in your area. Astronaut Dan Tani will be paying a special visit and joining Dr. Niall Smith or Blackrock Castle Observatory as they travel to various locations across Ireland to help us celebrate!
In 2024 and 2023, Ireland placed 2nd in the world for Space Week events per capita, so let’s keep up the momentum. If you are/want to host an event yourself, make sure to register it for free on the Space Week website!
